Stanley Cup game 2 devils vs kings. Now devils down 2 games I'm not happy at all.

Just a little bit of light room editing. tilt shift editing.

Pictures look great except for all the Devils fans hahaaaha :lmao: (im a disgruntled FL Panthers fan)

Nice work on the photos. Though I too would consider the only problem to be all the Devils fans in the shots. I'm with Matthew Perry...GO KINGS!!!!

I come from being a disgruntled Florida Panthers fan too, but also having been a very long time Kings fan since I lived in L.A. before moving to Fla. I just hope NJ doesn't pull another of those comeback-from-down-two-games moves like they've done against FL and Phi. I'm hoping someone goes and gets the big broom, because I'm hoping for a SWEEP.

i don't see nj winning a cup in 17 years cause that how long kovy's contract is and Zach leaves and goes to the wild cause he doesnt want to play with Kovy. Zach will miss the fans, zajac and adam "rookie of the year" or at else we hope devils get that.

Kovy comment after last night games " we are done"

What fisheye lens do you use?

Rokinon 8mm seems like the focus doesn't work at all. But alot of people say cause it is so wide it is hard to get a solid focus on anything. I just leave my at 3ft focus.

I like all the Pictures...AND the Devils fans in them! I am a big Devils fan as well, and has not been a good series for us. You can tell it is the Kings year to win. They are getting the right bounces you need to win the Cup. At least we beat the Flyers and Rangers, but would be nice to see the trophy back in NJ. For all you Panther fans, you guys took a big step this year, and have a nice future ahead of you..I did an internship with them too..and I guess the DeBoer wanted to follow me back to NJ.

I have that same focus problem with that Rokinon. Mine seems to do better in bright sunny conditions but when it comes time for darker low light its super soft. I messed with it a little this past weekend and seemed hit or miss.

Here are a few that I feel came out a little soft. This first one I even changed up the focus and all came out the same. They look ok in the 800x420 here but if you look at the n Flickr you can see the softness

This one came out a lot better that these other two I feel.

Heres a review with someone who had to adjust his focal ring, I may try this fix to see if that helps out.

Another link that talks about calibrating the fisheye. Seems that may help both of us out.

well thanks for those links tonight when I get home. I'll figure it out withe camera set on the tripod. I see 3ft from focal plane so I have to figure out were the "focal plane" is. Hey I don't know everything.

I didn't even know that there was a problem with those 8mm fisheyes.

PS 3-1 series....:3dglasses

Nice shots. I use the Rokinon 8mm on a Canon and it took me a little bit to get a good feel for the focus. I had a lot of shots that were off at first but since I got a good feel for it I haven't had any problems.

It was too bad the Panthers got *that* close to moving on in their first playoff in a decade...but considering how NJ went on to push past some better and stronger teams, Florida ended up having put up the best fight against Jersey in the east - bodes well for Florida next year.

As for the Stanley Cup...I'll try to be restrained for the sake of the feelings of the NJ fans here, but....OH HECH YEAH! KINGS KINGS KINGS KINGS KINGS!!!!!!!!! It's about time, L.A.!

I thought my run of luck with Stanley Cups was coming to an end after a lovely run, and it might be the beginning of another dark age (starting in 1995, the first of the 'dark ages' came to be in hockey, whereby for 9 miserable years the Stanley Cups were won by the same 4 of my most disliked teams). After the first Dark Age, there were two new Cup winners, but then one of the Dark Four came back and won another...fortunately, that ended up being a fluke and the next 3 winners were all new again. And just when I was worried one of the Dark Four might come back and win in 7, the door closed in their face and another fresh Stanley Cup winner emerges!

And moreover...one I actually love - as a former L.A. resident and Kings fan from back in the great Gretzky/Robataille/Kurri era.

BTW - thanks for the hockey stadium shots guys - I never realized you could get a camera into a game as I've never tried...maybe next season I'll bring a camera along. Any problems getting in with larger cameras, or is it best to stick to compacts and mirrorless cams?

Very excited for next season and the Panthers after how well they did this season. Finally looking up for us South Florida hockey fans. :thumbsup2

I brought my Sony A55 into the Bank Atlantic center for game 1 and what an adventure that was. I called earlier in the day and spoke to security to confirm if I was able to bring the camera in or not. Lady I spoke to said no professional cameras or cameras with removable lenses, total bummer. I still brought it with me incase and left it in the car and walking up to the front doors I saw everyone and their mom with a DSLR of every size and shape. So I ran back and grabbed my bag (parked at Sawgrass so was nice lil run) then headed back in line, finally got to security and guy told me I couldnt bring my camera bag and camera itself was too large, back to the car I run. Left the whole thing back in car and on way back saw another guy walking up with DSLR and he said as long as the lens is under 12” it was ok, back to the car I run. Grabbed the camera but left the bag, took my jersey off and draped it over my arm with my camera in my hand under the jersey buy still partially visible. Made it past first security guy, got ticket scanned then it was time for the wall of wand people, at which point I got extremely nervous and felt like I was super spy sneaking in highly classified files. Low and behold I made it right in with no questions asked and took pictures the whole game. Wish I was able to bring in and extra lens but didn’t want to have to run back to the car yet again. So thats my camera at the hockey game adventure lol

at the rock no issue at all. I bring 3 lenses with me as well. They just check the bag really fast and we are good to go. Doesn't matter where I sit 6 row from ice or upper section.
