Standard view or Lave View at VGF?

We are brand new DVC members at VGF. I read one post where the lake view was described as being great. Im wondering if it's worth to points as compared with the standard view. Anyone??

Have stayed on all three sides of the T, not the Grand Villa side however. And although we have upcoming reservations for Lakeview as well as Standard view, we don't find any one view that much better than the other. Nice to see the boats and water parade from the Lakeview, but it's also nice to watch the monorail from the front side or the monorail AND the G.F. resort from the other side.

For us, we'll continue to switch it up as we like all sides.

Lake view you will see water unobstructed.

Standard view might be the Senses Spa/parking lot with the monorail going by or the GF side with the GF buildings, maybe the kid pool, maybe some fireworks. Standard view also has some poor views blocked by building elements.
