Standard view BC?

I am getting ready to book standard view room @ the Beach club for August "09" . What should I request....would like to be close to the lobby..anything else?

I requested a standard room with a full balcony or patio, near either the volleyball courts or quiet pool. We got lucky and got upgraded to concierge, but I think those requests are some of the better standard views.

I love being on the 2nd floor because you have the option of the staris rather than waiting for the elevator...We stayed in the "Samantha Brown" room where she stayed on Great Hotels, I loved that, becuse it was so convenient and ovelooked the walk way outback, you could kind of see the pool and if u looked out there, see the lagoon.
