I am thinking about staying here in November. This would be our first time at this resort so what would we see with a standard view verses water view? Also, has anyone ever gotten a great rate there in November?

I, too, had the same view when I stayed there in '99. I was on ground level which had a patio. I found this view to be very serene and quiet. I could even step over some low lying bushes that fronted the patio and walk to the quiet pool. LOL - didn't have to go through the lobby to go for a swim. DH sat on the patio reading while I was poolside reading!
Be sure to put in a request for a good view. We stayed there last month for 1 night before moving to BWV for 6 nights and I didn't bother with a view request, just non-smoking. Our room was next to the walkway to the bus stop. People were constantly walking by and talking. If we would have been staying there the whole week, I would have asked to be moved. We checked in around 4:00 and that was all that was left.
The views from this room seem to be garden view. We stayed at the BWI in November 1999 and paid for this specific view.
From my understanding, the standard view rooms overlook the Boardwalk entrance.
I hope someone can also confirm this. I don't want you to book the room, expecting this view, and be disappointed.
We were there 11/12-16, 2002. Paid for standard room, 179 per night + tax. This was on a general public code. As I understand about the only better rate was for AP at 169 a night.
We had room 4298 and from the room/balcony, we could see the top of the EPCOT ball, writting and hand. Had a nice view of the higher fireworks. Could sing along with the Brittish Invasion.
Room was really nice. Best we've had at WDW. Room did have a daybed.
We really loved it. The Christmas decorations were beautiful too.
Would go back in a heartbeat!
was on the main driveway leading up to the resort. Sound horrible, but being on the 4th floor we had a great view of Studios Fantasmic fireworks. Overall, not a bad place to stay I just prefer YC/BC for an EPCOT resort.
