we have stayed the wl many times.... woods view/courtyard/concierge level..... but have never had a standard view room before... can someone let us know the approximate location of the standard view rooms... room numbers would be sweet as well.... :cool1:

we can't wait to swim, eat and soak in the hot tubs...

Hmm There is a map online somewhere of the WL rooms and their views. I stayed in room 6062 a few weeks ago, it was a standard room. Avoid this room if you can. It was nice, a new refurbished room, but the 'View" was of a service area behind the hotel and noisy wiht trucks, etc. Also it is near an elevator and i could hear that elevator going up and down all night, must have been a CM elevator in the service area becasue I was not near an elevator on the 6th fl. Too noisy for me to get any sleep. Other than that, the room was great :)

Thanks for the input on this room. We have a ressie for 2 standard view rooms in 7/2007, and I'll be thinking about any room requests that I may have.

1) Some standard rooms have a view of the MK fireworks through the trees.
2) But all standard rooms overlook the service area.

The standard rooms surround the lobby. The south side of the resort they overlook the bus stop area and the parking lot. The north side of the resort they are over the service area (blocked by trees) but at night you can see the fireworks from the MK from over the tree tops, if you are high enough. So..I would ask for North side of the resort..a higher floor. Hope that helps :)
