We didn't get a ROL dining package, much as I have tried. I have a FP+ for it but really really don't want to use a FP for a nighttime show and be locked into only two FP that day. I'm continuing to try for a dining package to replace our regular Tusker House ADR but if I don't get it, I'm thinking of ditching the ROL FP and playing it by ear.
Maybe some of you that have gone since ROL switched to one show a night could offer some input on how the standby situation is? Or check back after you've gone in September or early October? We go to AK on Oct 17 so plenty of time to stew about it. LOL
I've seen enough "meh" reviews of ROL to hope that the standby line will become very manageable. I've also seen enough "meh" reviews to be OK with missing it if that's the way the cookie crumbles.
