I love these lamps, I think maybe I need to hint to DH that they'd make a wonderful xmas gift.

I hate spending that much on something I haven't been able to look at up close. Has anyone ordered them or been able to look at them in a store? Are they as pretty up close and of good quality?

I have seen the "Tinker Bell" stained glass lamp in TDS a while back. It is a beautiful item.....I just did not care for the *resin* sculpture. Whatever happened to good ol' much more collectible ceramic? Also, if you read the tiny print in their catalog, there is this WARNING-This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm! I don't think this would be exclusive to harm only in CA. They are the only state to require such a warning.

I have the Tinker Bell one that was sold in the catalog and is from the same series as the Snow White one. It's beautiful. When the light is on you can see silhouettes of the Darling Children & Peter Pan. The figure may be resin, but it feels and looks like bronze. I just saw the one for Belle. My daughter collects her and this is somthing I am not going to pass up.

These are very nicely done and are limited editions. The price is steadily going up. When I bought Tinker Bell it was $225. Now Belle is $268.

I think you should get it. :D
