:confused3 I see that we have another fireworks quest this week. I finally gave up on last week's fireworks quest (140,000 - yeah right). I was disappointed to find this week's cat quest is another fireworks quest in disguise. After several hours of playing fireworks, my eyes are crossed, my nerves frazzles, I've a knot in my neck and I'm still not there. I've gotten to 100,000 a couple times. Just now, I made it through round two with more than 70,000 points, very promising until I disconnected.

Looks like it isn't worth starting quests unless you can ace the fireworks game. I've got a couple million fireworks points today, but that gets me zippety.

Maybe there should be a primal scream therapy center on Main Street!

Well this time the score are 120 000 and 50 000 it is easy doing

The 50 000 was on the dog quest after it was finally possible to finish. When I make a quest I have to test that it's possible to do before I open it. Didn't somebody on staff test that dog quest before it was released? :rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl:

If you try to play at a time when there aren't a lot of other players, you can get into Frontierland and Tomorrowland and easily get the 150,000 or 50,000. It is the Pirates game I am having problems with. I've got two quests that are at the pirate point. After that I can finish them. I loved the quest last night where you didn't have to play any of the games to win. I would love to see like it.

I was doing the quest last week and when it got to fireworks part, I just gave up. I can't play the game, I have tried several hundred times. I know my limits. I see no point in sittinf here and being really upset over it. I will never even try to play it again.

I ended trading for last weeks pin.

I started this week quest and when it got to the fireworks I was going to turn off the computer and go sew when my husband said, let me give it a shot.
After 2 hours of playing fireworks - only- he finally got enough points.

I know a lot of peole can't play the fireworks, I think it is time that VMK starts listening to the peoples. I find myself playing VMK less and less every week, there are some days I never even get on.

I agree why even try anymore

I used to have a problem with fireworks but after a few days of doing nothing but playing fireworks I have it down. I can only say keep trying and play and play and play all you can.

When I first started playing vmk i was frustrated with all of the games. I eventually made a couple of great friends who coached me throught the games and gave some great pointers. It wasn't until the magic quests came out for the new tomorrowland that I realy got motivated to improve my skills. The point is that I played and played and played until I finally got better. Now I'm not the best fireworks player out there and I have only come in first place a couple times, but I can get to the fourth or fifth round most or the time. I'm just trying to say don't give up. Keep trying.

The game really does follow a pattern and you can learn the pattern and start to get higher scores. I recently decided to master one level at a time. I am really concentrating on level one. it doesn't sound like much but on average I have improved my score on level one enough to get 39,000 to 41,000 in that level pretty consistantly. Increasing my level one score really makes a diffference in how far I get in the game. Just take it one level at a time or even just one round at a time and you will see your scores improve.

I am sorry to hear about your difficulties with the fireworks game. I know I used to be really bad but practice helps (still cannot get 240K). But I think the point of the quest is that if you are going to get the prize, if you so desire it, they expect you to have the ability to play all of the mini-games. Just as in life, if you want something bad enough you will practice to get it or trade for it in VMK.

When I first started playing fireworks, I played with someone else. If there is somebody in your family who also play VMK, have one person control the mouse and the other switch the designs. This helped A LOT. (I got my first fireworks magic playing with my sister). This way, you get to practice one part of fireworks at a time. After you have perfected clicking on the fireworks, switch to the designs and practice on that for a while. Finally, when you have mastered both parts of the game, practice doing both.

Fireworks can be a very easy game if you are able to memorize the order of the designs and know what to expect each level. :thumbsup2

Good Luck, I hope you decide to keep practicing and don't give up! :teeth:

I was having a hard time in the being with fireworks, I had gone over my Brother-in-law's house and had him do it for me (underwater suit quest), I had beening playing with the sound off, after turning it on and playing many more times, I have actually gotten better and was able to complete the quest on my mule. I was very excited that day. If all else fails, find someone else to help you complete the fireworks part, I find kids are very good at it.
