After taking an hour to wake DD this morning we finally got off to MGM. Took the bus over which wasn't bad today coming or going. It was already at the Settlement when we arrived there and when we left MGM it was only a 10 minute wait. One thing I hate is WL always get's there drop offs first on the buses and boats. We're being discriminated against friends. Kidding. MGM was packed. We did Tower of Terror with a fastpass and walked right on Star Tours. Believe it or not we watched 3 of the little skits the actors that go around the on golf cart do. The cute little red headed one (Paige) came up and gave me a hug and wrapped her leg around me lol. Good thing I'm single lol and it was the cute one. The street shows were funner than some of the attractions IMO. Also ate at the ABC Commisary. Reasonably priced and pretty good food.

We're off to the pool for cool down time and then to buy groceries for the week so we can cook out. Epcot has EMH tonight so we may hit that or stay here and watch Cinderella. Either way I'll post the rest later on.

Sounds like a nice day. Love that ABC commisary, one of my favorite non table service places to eat!!!

Only one better is Pecos Bills at the Magic Kingdom, man I love that big burrito thing! :)

Where, oh where is the tag fairy? :lmao:

Have you eaten at the commissary lately? I used to think the same about it but the last time I wasn't impressed with the choices. We tried some of several items but only liked the lo mein. Pecos Bills is the best, I don't know if it's the love of the wilderness, adventuring out west or whatever, but I could sit in or outside of Pecos Bills for a couple hours. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad with jicama slaw.

Ok here's the end of day 2. We ended up going to the movie (Cinderella) and afterwards decided to go to EMH at Epcot. Got there around 10:30 and rode Soarin and Test Track. So when we have these EMH's does that mean the hotels are empty lol. I swear it seemed like a normal day at the park with all the people. We're just hangin out thought and playin it all by ear. No hurry. We always do a resort dinner and this time I'm wondering where we will go. We did Boma at AKL last trip. Somebody suggested 1900 something. Is that good? I know it's in the GF. I was thinking the Luau at the Poly too. Somebody please make suggestions. Til tomorrow.

Cedar Plank Salmon at the WL is always a good bet :goodvibes

Well, we ate there last year, I had the Cuban sandwich (LOVE them!). It still seemed the same to me, but I guess it depends on what you order. I'll have to make sure to check it out next time we go, maybe it has changed since then.

And yea, Pecos Bills, just love that place. Only problem is trying to find a seat. It's total luck of the draw, and I find it one of the hardest counter service places to try to find a seat at. Once took me 20 minutes!!

However, once you do get a seat, you get to watch everyone else trying to get one. People rushing to a table only to get beaten by another group by a few seconds, grandmas holding 3 tables for their families, it never stops. And man some of the most upset people I have ever seen have been trying to get a table...lol.
