Stack your codes at Disneydirect AGAIN

I returned something to the Disney Store from Disney Direct just a few weeks ago with no problem :)

I find it strange that you'd be allowed to take Disney Direct returns to the Disney Store. Considering that both entities are owned by 2 different companies, seems odd.

If you go to the return policy for disneydirect and print it, it does say that you can return to The Disney Store. It's probably an agreement that was decided on during the sale.....but with all things considered, I believe disneydirect.com and the catalog will be sold to TCP in the near future, so that is why the connection has not be cut. The TCP just acquired the disneydirect and catalog outlet stores, so the online and catalog should or could be next.

Can anyone tell me how the sizing runs on the costumes? I followed the size chart online and ordered an XS for my 4 1/2 year old. She is 40" tall and 38 lbs. I hope it fits! I really don't want to go throught the trouble of mailing it back to exchange it.

I placed 2 orders (1 on my card and 1 on DH's) and they both have shipped. We have pending charges in excess of the amount of the order amount. I'll wait a few days to see what actually goes through.

Directly from Disney Direct's return policy:
Disneydirect.com will gladly exchange, credit or refund your purchase of any Disneydirect.com merchandise returned within 60 days of the shipping date, excluding shipping and handling charges (Art & Collectibles purchases must be returned in their original packaging within 30 days of shipping date and must include the original packing slip. Disney Dream Desk PC Set must be returned in its original packaging within 15 days of delivery date and must include the original packing slip.). To return by mail, please send prepaid via UPS or insured USPS. A preaddressed label has been attached to your packing slip for your convenience. Be sure to include your name and address on the label (we will not accept any packages without a return name and address). Please allow 2 weeks for processing. Or, visit any Disney Store location and present your original packing slip.* Returns made to Disney Store are subject to Disney Store policies. Please note: Effective May 1, 2004, returns of art and collectible purchases, excluding snowglobes, are no longer accepted at any Disney Store location).

My DD(4) is 42" tall and weighs around 42 lbs. She has a Cinderella dress from last year from the Disney Store that is a size XS. She can still wear the dress, last year it was floor length, this year it is several inches off the floor.

Thanks for easing my mind! I had called and asked Disneydirect about the sizing but wasn't sure they knew what they were talking about :) .

We received our luggage today and were billed only the discounted price (no pending charges remain).

Thats great to hear! WOOwho! Dont you love it! I cant wait till mine come tuesday or Wensday.

Got my Haunted Mansion pin orders today. They did charge me extra on the tax not sure quite how they are calculating it, it's about $2 more than my confirmation order. However saving $35 by stacking I sure am not going to complain about being charged an extra $2 that I shouldn't have been.

My charge to my card was just over $2 more also (and tax was already calculated previously.) That's strange.

My order arrived today (my son is THRILLED with his costume) and had to place another order for DH who decided he wanted a costume pirate:
I was able to stack a 10% offer and $10 off for it, but all of the other promotions were not even coming up as an option (the other 10% offer, the other $10 offer, and another one--they all said code had expired or didn't exist.)

I wonder if the 'extra' tax money is actually tax that is owed on the whole total ~ BEFORE the discounts.

I know when you use a coupon at a restaurant or store, that you still have to pay sales tax on the entire amount, even though they deduct some money from what you pay.

Just wondering....

I thought the same thing....no worries if everything posts to the account just once. $46.xx is a nice price for a 3-piece luggage set and I'm certainly not going to complain about what I paid for the costumes with an extra dollar or two added :)

How did you packages come? I thought I was getting it from the Post Office but an email saying it was shipped said it was coming from another company. How long does it take to come? My email said it was shipped on Thursday and the email came Friday and nothing today.

If you're talking about the luggage, it usually comes DHL or USPs. Whenever I order the larger items they come in their own boxes and do not arrive the USPS.

mine was shipped out thursday too. In the past when i ordered they sent it through DHL first then to the post office. I am thinking mine will get here Tuesday.
