Stabucks on Groupon again

I missed it last week, but got lucky tonight! $10 for $5. Hope this helps someone! Love free Starbucks money....I give them plenty!

Thank you for posting this! I missed the last one too but got one tonight. I am stashing these away for our Oct 2017 trip to Disney but after I bought it I noticed the "fine print".

For Online Redemption: Must redeem Groupon at http://groupon.starbucks.com/ for a Starbucks eGift Card, which can be used in any participating Starbucks store.
For In-Store Redemption: Redeem at any participating Starbucks store in US by 9/30/16. Groupon will send amount paid in Starbucks eGift Card if not redeemed by 9/30/16 within 30 days thereafter. See Starbucks terms & conditions applicable to Starbucks Cards.

I see it has an expiration date, unless you don't use it by the expiration date, in which case they send you an e-gift card for the amount you paid which does not expire.

So, whats the point of having an expiration date? lol

edit: Just went into my Groupon account and it shows where I bought it, followed by this:

$10 Starbucks eGift Card has been canceled. If you have not redeemed this Groupon, you are eligible for a refund. Claim Refund

Mine went through fine. The Starbucks card doesn't expire, just the Groupon redemption. In other words, you have to redeem your Groupon code for the Starbucks e-card before a certain date. The card itself is then yours and I don't think it expires. I just transfer it immediately to my account.

That's weird that yours got cancelled. I've had them not go through, but never cancelled!

Yup. Only 1 account. I hardly ever order from Groupon, and have never had any problems before.

The one I ordered last Monday also says cancelled on my Groupon page but it let me load it to my Starbucks card anyway. They just won't let me buy another one.

I was able to print off my GC but still not sure if its redeemable or not because of that cancellation message. I have never shopped at Starbucks in my life (getting these for my BF to use on our Disney trip) so I have to go get a physical card first before I can try to transfer this on there. And yes, only 1 Groupon account. This was my 4th purchase ever on Groupon.

If you have a smart phone, you should be able to download the Starbucks app and register the card to you aka create an account. You can also do this online at the Starbucks website and use the app as your card. You can pull up the card barcode and have them scan it. I believe the extra $5 does not expire once you've redeemed for the actual card.

Just checked this out. Would be a fantastic deal if they let you buy multiples. You're only allowed 1 per person. I was all excited since I would buy 10 of them for our upcoming trip.

My son and daughter-in-law live with me so they also made groupon accounts and bought one. We we're able to get 3 this way (they are going on our trip with us).

For some reason, I am only able to get 2 this way. My husband and I each got one but my teenage daughter was denied. My dad also lives with us and while he doesn't drink Starbucks, I thought maybe I could get one through him (he has an account and his own cc) but that was also denied. I don't know how they determine it, but it's either that we all use the same computer or all have the same billing address.

I never seem to be able to fine these, dang it!!! When I do a search at Groupon for anything Starbucks the only things that come up are K-cups and coffee beans! Am I using the wrong search terms or something?????
