St. Thomas Doubloon Sail and Snorkle ?

We are about to finalize our excursion plans for our 10-day Christmas Cruise.

Has anyone had experience (good or bad) with the Doubloon Sail & Snorkle excursion through the DCL? Pros and cons of early vs later time?

We have been highly advised to do it and will in January. We can't wait!
