St Patricks Day

I understand that St Patricks Day usually has fireworks and other activities going on during the day. Does anyone know what is scheduled this year ? Will there be a stage built in front of the castle with dancers etc which has been done in past ?

Also, will the St Patricks fireworks be different from 20th Anniversary firewrk show or just be the same ?

I'm going to be there for the St David's Welsh Festival this year. So depending on what happens for that it will give us an idea what is planed for St Patricks Day this year.

They normally have activities on the Fantasyland Stage and in the Videopolis stage in Discoveryland. Last year they had special fireworks too but Dreams! is running now so it will be interesting to see how they end the day with special fireworks or not.

The stage in Videopolis is under refurbishment I believe at the moment but there are choirs scheduled to preform on it in March.

The schedule for the Welsh Festival will be up on the DLP website in two weeks time to give you a general idea.

Mickey and Minnie also dress up in traditional costumes too.

Yes it will start at park closing at 10pm and last for 20 minutes.

They still did fireworks for the 14th even though Dreams was showing.

Fireworks are planned for both occasions - St Davids and St Patricks as well as showing Dreams

Sorry if this is a daft question but will we be able to see much of the fireworks (not dreams) from outside the parks? We will be in the village that evening.

You can see some from besides the lake in DV- Stand with your back to the SL-Will depend on how high they shoot them

Otherwise go to the top floor (roof) of the Vinci parking - off DV and you get a great view from there, even of Dreams but you won't hear the music.
