St Marten - See & Sea then gambling

What's the easiest way for DH to do this? If we go to the See & Sea then he goes off gambling? Is it easy enough for him to go back to the ship for lunch since the excursion gets over at 1215ish? Or is there someplace after the sub that would be easier for him to get himself to the Princess port de plaisance?

The tour bus will either drop you in downtown Philipsburg or back at the ship depending on your option. He'll have no problem getting a taxi from either downtown or at the dock.

The See & Sea goes for a shopping stop in Marigot after the semi-submersible sub. I don't know if the tour operators would "freak" or not if not everybody made it back on to the bus at Marigot. Maybe folks leave the tour all the time there. But perhaps he could take a taxi from there to maximize his table time.

How long does the shopping part last? Would I have enough time to look for an outfit for tropical night?

Did this excursion in the p.m. We did not enjoy it at all and I know my husband would not have. My suggestion for him is to go gambling the whole time.

When we returned to do shopping, we had approx 1 hour before the bus left to go back to the ship. My advise is do this island on your own or do another excursion. This wasn't that great for us. The sites you see are not exciting; mostly houses (most not very nice, some okay). The sub was a ride in a boat out to a coral reef and then you walked below deck and sat very close to one another up against glass windows, while a diver went in the water to feed the fish so they could come up close to the windows for pictures. We saw the same fish snorkeling and enjoyed the snorkeling more because we were the ones in the water.
