Anyone either from or stayed here? We might stop on our way to WDW and am trying to look for nice places to stay. In town or on the beach? Looking at the Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, etc.

If anyone has any info, I'd love to hear it!

We stay at the Holiday Inn on A1A! Great hotel, right on the beach, with your own private walkway, and the Sunrise is Beautiful!;)

Thanks! Does anyone know where Vilano beach is as compared to St. Augustine beach? I can use some points at the Hampton Inn there but the one on St. Augustine beach is booked.

The Holiday Inn looked nice. The Casa Monica did look nice too,but traveling with 3 kids sort of kills the romantic notions at times, LOL!

Hey while you're there make sure you check out the Castillo de San Marcos. Also just walk around at night cuz you need to experience that. See if you can get in on a walking ghost tour of the city. St. Augustine is one of the most haunted cities in America....dun dun dun

is one of my 9 year old daughter favorites. Also when you are staying there, you have use of a gorgeous beach club on the ocean. They also have their own pool, the restaurant, 95 cordova, is awesome. We stay there several times a year.

I just remember going to the Fort, Alligator Farm, and Fountain of Youth. Loved the Alligator Farm.
