I leave in 8 "freaking" days. woohoo. Faith should know today, hopefully, if she can make it - she is having a problem with her work because of the hurricane and all the damage it caused.

This is my first time going for Super Soap....do they have CMs there to take pictures of you when you're getting autographs or do I have to drag DH everywhere will me?? Is it possible for him to stand in a line to get tickets for, say, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Will they not give him 2 tickets for an event like that?

Oh well....even if I do have to drag him along, I'm still excited! He doesn't really care, but I was hoping for some alone time since this trip is a gift to myself. After my 2nd IUI failed and I was told IVF was my only option, I was so upset. It just happened to be the day the dates for Super Soap were released. I thought, "I've always wanted to go for that...." Then I sat there and said, "Why the heck not?!?" I booked it and went home and told DH we were going.

I guess I could take pictures without me in them!

The CM will take pictures for you. My DH and DD are going with me to stand in line in the morning to get FP for autographs for me then going their merry way. I will be on my own for the day too. I am sorry to hear about you health problems.

The FP machines for the autographs are not linked to the rides. As long as he has your ticket he can get 2 FP's for WWTBAM.

I think Christine, Faith, and I are going to try to meet somewhere if you want to join.

We are flying in Friday evening and back out Monday am. I can hardly wait!!!!

Thanks for the info....this will also give DH the chance to go over to Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival. I figure I'll stick my iPod on and walk around at my own pace - I've never done Disney solo before. DH actually said to me, "How will we get in touch?" Uh....cell phones??



It's also my first time at the Swan, which I've always wanted to do. First Super Soap, first Swan stay, first solo time....should be an action-packed weekend!

We fly in around 6 and are taking the Disney buses to the Beach Club. If you see us don't be too shy to say Hi

I've never done WDW solo either. I took DD with me last year and it was the first time without DH.

I do WDW solo often (I only live an hour away). It is not too bad, at least you dont have to check with anyone to see if they want to ride this ride or go to this park.....etc.

They also have parades of the stars and interviews so you will get some good pictures there too. Also, you can walk around the autograph areas and get good pictures. Faith and I seem like we go around in circles all day but it is fun looking for the stars.

Also.....good place to see them being moved from place to place is right at the Star Tours area, between that place and the counter service place is a gate that they move the stars in and out of all day. You will see lots of people hanging around there.

Faith and I are supposed to be staying at the Swan also - as long as she is able to make it. If she cant then I may have to find a place offsite but I will definately be there!

If you want to meet up let one of us know. I can give you my cell number if you would like. I know you will enjoy the day. Oh and I would recommend seeing the Street Jam. I watched it for the first time last year and enjoyed it - I watched it on Sunday and it seemed less crowded than on Saturday.

Those are awsome pictures! I'm going to bring my parents' digital camera (I know, I'm living in the Stone Age and it's pretty sad that my parents have a digital camera before I do!). I hope I'll be able to post some pictures, too. Unfortunately, I'm sure they'll all be family-friendly.
