SSW Sunday for someone not participating

I will be at Disney November 15-22. My plan is to go to DHS on Sunday the 16th which is part of Super Soap Weekend. I have no intention of participating in any of the soap opera stuff. I have lunch and dinner reservation at restaurants in the park. I have checked the Disney website for times of parades and such. What will be affected by this event? Are restaurants going to be extra crowded? Will you have a longer wait than normal (even with reservations) due to the high volume of people there for the event? Will parade schedules be different? Will shows be cancelled to make room for soap events? Will it be harder to move around the park with crowds of people in concentrated areas? I have tried to see if there is a schedule of the daily events for the weekend but haven't found one yet. I will change stuff around if it is going to make visiting the park inconvenient. I just want a clear idea of what to expect.

Look thru the Theme Parks threads, and you will find over 400 posts about SSW. They pretty much say it's a madhouse there on Saturday and Sunday, both. Actually close to closing with the large number of attendees. From what I could tell- didn't bother to read all 400 posts - the FastPasses go quickly, and there are lines at the major attractions.


We are opting to avoid it completely those 2 days. I'm guessing you could get reservations to eat because the dates for SSW are usually earlier, but it was moved back a week to the 15th & 16th.
