Hello everybody!
Just wanted to tell everyone how excited I am that Mom and Dad are bringing me back to the Happiest Place on Earth in only 18 days! Not only do we get to stay at SSR again (my favorite resort), but we also get to travel with my Aunt and Uncle! It will be our first two bedroom experience and I'm thinking Mom and Dad will like it so much, maybe I can convince them to book two bedrooms everytime we go. It would be awesome if I had my own bedroom and bathroom every time. (I think Mom and Dad would be glad to have me out of their bathroom too...if you recall, wet monkey smell is not a good thing.) Anyway, we have so much to do between now and then...presents to wrap, cookies to bake (and eat), snowmonkeys to make and more. Oh my! As you can see, the Mickey tree is up and my friends Tigger and Pooh are all set for the holidays. Ok, so Chloe (the cat) is ready too. She's still up to no good. Mom and Dad left us unattended right after this picture was taken and the evil cat ate the toe off of my sock. At least my real toes are still intact. Watch for my daily updates beginning December 18th. Happy Holidays!

P.S. I'm accepting holiday gifts, but only gift certificates to Beaches and Cream. I really want The Kitchen Sink, but Mom says it will just make me puke. I say, "Try me!"

Kewl I remember SSRMonkey's TR! We'll be at SSR in 20 days so who knows, maybe we'll see you around. Have fun packing!

We're not at SSR, but we'll keep an eye out for you! Epcot the 18th, ? the 19th, AK the 20th, and MK the morning of the 21st.

Hope to see you SSR Monkey.

Loved your last trip report, SSRmonkey, and looking forward to the next! If you can get mom and dad to take you, see if you can snap some pics of the THVs. I bet that ends up being your favorite location at SSR, with the trees and all!

Have a wonderful vacation, and travel safely! :goodvibes

Thanks Buckeye fan! I will do my best to get to the THV. You might be right about them becoming my favorite although I really like the horses at Saratoga. But who doesn't love swinging through the trees??

Can't wait to read your latest TR and see you in all the different places where
you will have adventures. Mend those socks so you don't get "popsicle toes"!

Hey, SSR monkey Have a great trip. I just got back from SSR today. I had lots of pixie dust on my SSR room keys. Make sure you try this to see if it is working for everyone or if it was just a fluke. All of our room keys to SSR would get fastpasses. We had seperate tickets and they got the fastpasses too. so we could get 2 at the same time. So don't get your tickets put on your room keys.

Too funny. We are leaving in a week for OKW and I was just thinking it should be time for the next SSRMonkey report. And here you are! We were there in June too and although we missed you then, I hope to run into you somewhere in the World!

If I remember correctly, try to stay away for the drinks in Mexico this time.

Thanks for your concern about popsicle toes. It made my Mom think and now I have...SLIPPER SOCKS!! Why did I not know about these before? They're warm (good for the frigid PA temperatures), they have no holes chewed in them from the devil cat, AND they have grippy things on the bottom so I can run around the house (usually away from the cat) without slipping. How cool is that???

I am also very excited about the fast passes from the room key and from the tickets! I love pixie dust, and I love fast passes. I'll keep my fingers crossed that our AP will work separately from our room keys. I always have to remind myself not to eat the pixie dust...it looks like powdered sugar.

Thanks for the reminder about the beer in Mexico. Maybe I'll try something Canadian. (I love the Rockies!)

10 days and counting. Anyone have tips for flying? I've never been on a plane before and I don't want to end up sitting next to the Air Marshal for bad behavior. Let me know!

SSRMonkey -you are the luckiest monkey! I remember meeting you on a previous trip at the Beach Club. My boys will be so excited to read your trip report (only we'll have to read it afterwards rather than during because they are the luckiest boys because we're taking them on a surprise Disney cruise for Christmas and we sail on the 20th).

Stay warm.

As for tips for flying, we find it is best to let little guys sit by the window. Don't put your feet on the back of the seat in front of you and don't bounce in your seat too much or you'll make the passengers ahead of you and behind you a bit irritable. And bring your own snacks for the plane in case you don't like the ones they offer. Make sure to use the restroom before you get onboard so you won't have to go during the flight... those airplane restrooms might be a bit scary to a little guy like yourself. If you behave yourself, the flight attendant might give you pilot wings. That doesn't mean you get to fly the plane next time, but it means you've been a good monkey so when you fly home, the air marshall will know you have experience.

Yea!! So happy for another SSR Monkey report! :goodvibes Hope you have safe travels and can't wait for your vacation to begin...I will be staying at your resort in January, sorry to miss you!

Hi nzdisneymom! I remember meeting you and your family right by Ariel at BCV. (Right after she let me touch her fin!)

Thanks for the flying tips. Mom yelled at me for kicking the back of her seat in her car. Boy did she get mad. My monkey paws were just a little stained from playing in the grapes in the backyard. Note to self: Grape juice should not be used as fingerpaint on car seats. Now I know.

I am I have heard that the bathrooms on airplanes are pretty scary. I think I will avoid that if possible, I don't want to fall in and turn blue. Blue+Red= not cool red monkey anymore. At least I would smell fresh though...well, maybe not.

So if being on my best behavior doesn't mean I get to fly the plane, what do I have to do? What if I pack a peanut butter and banana sandwich to give the pilot? Everyone loves those and surely that's enough of a bribe to let me take control of the lives of hundreds of people. (I just want to steer, my feet won't reach the pedals...something else I found out in the car. Good thing my parents have insurance.) Or maybe I can just be cute (as usual) and the flight attendant will give me a tour of the cockpit.

Well, it's almost bedtime and if I'm not in bed in 5 minutes, I won't wake up in time to watch Jerry Springer. (Don't tell my mom I watch that trash!) So...Goodnight!!!!

Only 6 days till I get to sit right outside Wetzel's Pretzels with my pretzel and cheese and coke and gaze lovingly at my favorite home away from home...SSR! I just wish Mom and Dad didn't yell at me everytime I try to feed the birds outside the pretzel place.

SSRMonkey - today is your day to arrive at WDW! Hope you had a great flight down and you behaved yourself. Did you get a tour of the cockpit? What is the first thing you did after you arrived?

Cindy,
I'm glad you're keeping track of me! I'm going to post a new thread with my TR in just a couple minutes. I'll fill you in on the details of my adventures so far!
