Ssr ???

We're headed to SSR next week and I have a couple of questions--

I just called and made my last ADR for Kona Cafe breakfast the day we leave at 8:30, the CM told me we needed to have our own transportation b/c the busses do not run that early. WHAT?? Is this true?

Is there and internal bus system? I won't have a car on our last day, DH is working the day I leave with the kids, and I'm not sure how I'll get 4 kids and the luggage back to the CH for the ME bus to MCO.

Not true - the buses start running an hour prior to park opening, and truthfully even earlier than that for those pre-park-opening character breakfasts / tours. The first bus at SSR for the Magic Kingdom starts as early as 6:45 a.m. (from our experience trying to get to MK for an early tour and according to what the bus driver told us).

As for getting to the Poly for breakfast, you should be able to get bus to MK and then hop on the resort monorail to get over to the Poly.

Regarding getting your luggage to CH for ME, you can call bell services for assistance. I think they'll be able to come help with one of those carts We've always just driven, but I've seen lots of guests being driven around with their luggage at SSR.

Thanks so much Cindy, I was really starting to worry about getting back to the Carriage House for our ME bus . If we're close enough I can walk over with the kids if Bell Services takes the luggage.

I thought that was wrong information about the busses, my DS13 will be thrilled to go to Kona Cafe, he loves the Tonga Toast!

Busses don't run from DTD to resorts until 9:00, so "technically" the CM was right. You could not do it using DTD as a hub. But, as wasa mentioned, it's easy to get to the GF/Poly/CR by bussing to the MK early.

Just make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get to the Poly. You'll need to probably leave SSR by 7:30 if you are going to take the bus to MK and then on to Poly.

It might save more time just to take a taxi.
