SSR/WDW: Access to computer w/internet & printer?

M&M and Melynny

probably the problem with faxes might be the "barcoding" would not translate properly, but with newer faxes that are like laser printers this might not be a problem

was just trying to point out "SWA Policy" on the matter of online check ins ( as we all know sometimes policy is not "treated" the same at all venues )

that is the only reason i can see them not wanting faxed copies which may not show the bar code window clearly enough ( some fax images do leave a lot to be desired )

lawgs is right - we're still sort of new to SWA, and our first few on-line bookings we did for 2 passengers. We learned the hard way (at 12:01 AM ::hee:: ) that we couldn't print our passes. So for the other two trips, I simply called their 800 number, explained the situation, and they split off DW into her own conf. number. We even got two new email confirmation messages; one for the old number (with just me), one for the new. So far, we haven't lost the on-line booking bonus.

lawgs,

I was thinking the same thing on the faxed copies.

There was 6 of us they split our res. also at 12:01 AM with no trouble when I found out they had to be split, to rec'v on line boarding passes.

I realize this isn't a real convenient location for you, but it is an option. We were staying at BWV so it was handy for us. We have also used the Business Center at The Contemporary Resort to print boarding passes when we stayed at VWL. I think the hours are something like 8am to 5pm. And it has been our experience that they do not charge you (not for the access or the printing) if you are printing boarding passes for your flight home.
Hope this helps!

How much does it cost to use the business center at the Boardwalk?

Sorry, I don't remember exactly what the posted charge was, since they didn't charge us! I think it was $1 per page to print, but I just can't recall the fee for internet access - maybe $5 for 15 minutes?

do not forget they have a 24 hour kinko just up the way from Crossroads....

they charge so much a minute and 49 cents a page to print out....

I use the Dolphin Business Center. It is open 24 hours a day and you just swipe your CC in the machine. It is 69 cents a minute and a $1 a page.
