SSR walkway to DTD

I booked a last minute trip for next weekend to SSR haven't stayed there since before the DTD construction started. Is the walkway from Congress Park to DTD open?? If it's not is there a new path to get from SSR to DTD??

The new walkway from Congress Park opened back in August 2014.

As a previous poster stated, it's been open since last August. I walked across it several times from Congress Park in Early Sept 2014. It's pretty nice.

It is really nice-went to Poly last night and took downtown disney bus back then walked to paddock section-we are near the paddock pool area and it was about a 15 min walk from bus depot to our room-congress park section would have been half that

We were there just last week and the new walkway is great. But you'll be shocked at how close DTD is to SSR now - You can almost jump across to The Boathouse

Yes it is-there is short walk down to the dock in the middle of the walkway that serves the PO boats-I think it also serves the boats that run from the west side over to the marketplace
