ssr vs. split stay at cr and gf?

i am trying to decide b/w only a few options for our visit in a couple weeks. please help! thanks!
ss entire 5 nights
first 3 nights at CR or CS
last 2 nights at one of these options:GF, BC,POR,FWL,BW
what do you think?
how hard is it to change hotels mid stay?
how best to book it with passes and meal plan?

i enjoyed my stay at SSR in 2006, but if you're considering CR & GF, you'll probably feel far removed from the action at SSR.

i understand it's pretty easy to do a split-stay - disney will transport your luggage and all - but i've never done it.

i prefer to buy passes from mapleleaftickets.com and don't like the new DDP, but it shouldn't be that difficult to add tickets and dining to both reservations...

My vote is for CR and GF. I just don't feel the magic at SSR, maybe we like the hustle and bustle more. Not sure. But it is easy to do a split stay Disney takes your bags for you just call the Bell desk when you are ready to switch tell them how many bags you have and they do the rest. Very easy.
