SSR Trip Report - Oops - Came out Long!

Great report. Thanks so much. We just took the plung with SSR two weeks ago.

I have a question about the trip you said you took with the grandparents. We are planning a trip for Dec 2007 with DH, DDs 3 & 5(at the time of travel) and my parents, both will be 60 at the time of the trip.
We are having a hard time deciding between a 2 bdr and the 3 bdr grand villa. Was the 2 bdr comfortable? We are a close bunch and see my parents a few times a week so aren't worried about privacy, but also want to have enough space to enjoy the trip. Any advice?

We got a 2bdr. It was a dedicated one with a pullout. We let my parents sleep in the Master Bdr. We took the 2nd bdr, one daughter slept on the pullout and we had an aerobed for the other one. (actually they took turns on it). This was our first dvc trip so had only been used to regular rooms, so this felt incredibly spacious to us. My parents don't travel much and they were blown away by how nice the accomodations were. We regularly use a aerobed, so to us it's not a big deal. We try to not use the pullout in the living room as a bed, that way it feels like it is truly the extra room we want. No tiptoeing around for snacks and tv, no setting it up every night and packing it away - it's nice.

We are serious point stretchers, (this was prior to 3 addons of course ) so we were economizing!

For us, it was a great trip!
