SSR to WL?

We are staying at SSR and have a dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We requested Grandstand section so this assumes we are there. I like the idea of bus to MK then boat to WL since we have 2 adult newbies and I think the boat would be more enjoyable. Our other option is walk or boat to DS, then bus to WL. Do you think the DS plan saves enough time to justify missing the MK boat ? Say, more than 10 minutes?

In our experience, DS buses to resorts are unpredictable and don't come very regularly. So we would take the bus to MK and boat to WL. It would be more fun, too. You could go home via DS (and stop for a nightcap on the way!). No matter what, allow plenty of time - at least 90 minutes. Better to arrive early and explore beautiful WL than late and miss your ADR.

If you want to save a ton of time, you can take a taxi or Uber as an alternative.

Thanks but there are 8 of us and I've heard its common for Uber not to send a large enough vehicle.

I would opt for the bus to MK, then boat over to WL. Little more reliable
