We have a Treehouse Villa reserved for part of our next stay and have invited some family members to join us. We won't have quite enough space for everyone in the Treehouse, so are thinking we'll reserve a studio at SSR for 2 adults (and possibly one child). This would leave 2 adults, 5-6 children/teens in the Treehouse. I expect we'd all hang out at the Treehouse occasionally over the 3 night stay. Total group - 10 people - 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 4-14.

Has anyone tried this before? Is it difficult to get from a SSR room to the THV by car? We won't have a car, but our guests will. Will it feel like we are too spread out to conveniently connect? Which area of SSR would you request for the studio? I was thinking Grandstand so we could meet them at the bus to head to the parks.

it isn't difficult - but they will need a key to get them through the gate. Grandstand is best, you can try to request a treehouse near the walkway.

or you could just take a bus from grandstand or whatever bus station is closest to treehouse villas bus stops.

THV is our FAVORITE place to stay. Our group is 7 people _
me, DH, DD (15), DD (5), my mom, and my nephews (14) and (15)

The nephews stay in the bunk bed room
Grandma and DD (5) sleep in the 2nd bedroom
our 15 year old daughter sleeps on the pull out sofa
we are in the master bedroom

We never even use the single bed pull out -

Next trip - October 2012 - CANT WAIT :yay:

It also isn't a bad walk from some of the Grandstand areas to the south bus stop at THV. Or, you could request the Springs for the studio and near the boat landing for THV and take the boat between the two.

Going back and forth won't be difficult at all. In fact if you can get them set right with the studio in the Grandstand and a THV near the end of the path you can walk between them. :thumbsup2 We had a THV close to the edge near the Grandstand, and took the walk to the main building a few times for meals. Worked very well, and we LOVED the Treehouses! :lovestruc
