We are planning to go to WDW 6/2012 so we will be booking July 2011. we are hoping to get a THV and i was wondering if anyone has not gotten one at the 11 month mark. I know some might not have over the holidays but what about the rest of the time. Thanks for the help.

We just purchased our resale contract last spring and I wanted to make reservations for spring break this year. I called 10 monthes in advance and was able to get THV for the whole week. If you call right at your 11 mo window I don't think you should have a problem. We loved it and can't wait to stay there again. Good Luck!

Got our THV for mid Aug 2011 at 11 months window.

So far there have really only been sporadic reports of not getting the THV's in the how resort booking times. A decent number of people have even gotten them at the 7 month mark. While most people that have stayed have really liked them, there are a lot of people scared that they might be too remote, etc etc.

We called at 11 months for a stay in November '11 and there was no problem. For this October, I could only book at 7 months, and had to waitlist for a THV, but the waitlist came through and we have a 3 night stay over Halloween weekend!

Booked one in both August 2009 and August 2011 without any problem at the 11 month mark.
