SSR Studio Question

I have two questions about a Studio we have reserved.

1. Since a Studio does not have a W/D. Are laundry facilities free of charge for DVC guests?

2. Is there a DVD player in a Studio?

The washers and dryers are near the pools and are free.

They installed a DVD player in the studio we were staying in July. Engineering came on the second day of our stay and installed the DVD player and energy saver light bulbs.

I don't know the timetable but I would imagine by now the SSR studios should all have the players.

Yes, it is true that there are free W+D near the pools.

I would suggest that you stress to your check in host that you want a DVD player. We did not have one when we were at SSR in April. It didn't really bother us, but if you definitely want one, speak up at check in.
