Ssr Spa???

Just wanted to know is the spa worth the time and money??

I enjoyed myself in August! I had a reflexology massage, had a sit in the sauna (why, I don't know, it was SO HUMID outside! but it felt nice inside), and a sit in the hot tub. *SIGH* It WAS great and it was the clincher for me to buy at SSR. (I know you can go there whether or not you own there, but I just thought that it was mighty cool!) The 20% off for being a DVC member is a great deal!

My sister and I had their deluxe facials about a year ago and they were wonderful. We really enjoyed the time was spent there - so relaxing! I suggest making an appointment for later in the day after spending time in the parks. We made ours in the morning and headed to the pool after and then to the park in the evening. Later that evening we decided that the next time we do it we will do the spa time in the evening instead. DVC members get discounts on certain spa services - be sure to ask when you call to make your appointment.

Does everyone that you book get the discount??? I want to send my wife, mother , and mother in law to the spa would everyone get the discount or just my wife??? When you sign up for a service are all the amminities available to you - work out room, hot tub....????

I go to the spa faithfully everytime I am at Disney. I love to go sit in the hot tub and sauna then go for a massage. Enjoy some more time in the hot tub, then I shower and get dressed or if I am staying at SS I go sit by the pool with a book.

Sometimes, I then go out and go shopping while the rest of the family does their thing. It is a day for me. We all deserve one of them.

I have used the discount on my guests when I have brought them with me to the spa. I never had a problem.

I would call the spa to double check before you book to make sure they are all entitled to the discount.

There are also specials for DVC members. You may want to ask about them too.

My friend and I both enjoyed the spa last February when we were there. It was very relaxing. They did extend the discount to her as well.
