SSR Room Request

It seems that everywhere else is booked over the New Year's holiday and because of this we'll be staying at our home resort for the very first time. That being said, what are your thoughts on making a room request at SSR? We are booked in a studio.

My personal favorite is Congress Park with a view of Downtown Disney.

Grandstand--first bus stop has a pool, golf course views possible.
Paddock--far away but very nice newer pool.
Springs-- close to main pool and main building but last bus stop.
Congress Park-- as noted nice views of DTD if you get those rooms, closest to DTD.

We requested the building just across the bridge in the Paddock and got it. That was the perfect location. Easy stroll to the main buildings and pool. Also the Paddock pool was great, as was the quick service by the pool.

We prefer the springs since we usually do the DDP and share the breakfast at Artist pallet . Also easy access to the main pool although I have heard the new pool is great too. You will enjoy it no matter where you are.
