We will soon be taking our first trip as DVC members! We will be staying at SSR. We have booked a 2 BR Villa & a 1 BR Villa. Am I making too many requests if I ask for:

1. Rooms near each other.

2. 2 Beds in the 2nd bedroom of the 2 BR Villa instead of a bed & sleep sofa.

3. To be in The Springs (near the main pool, etc.)

I know room requests are not guaranteed, but just wondering if I am asking for too much. :)

It sounds fine to me. Hope you get it.

I booked a 2 bdrm and a studio as part of a Grand Gathering...how many people are you booking for? I was told that they would make every effort to put us close, same building and hopefully same floor.

When I booked, I asked for a dedicated 2bdrm and MS said that it had 2 beds not a bed and sofa.

Haven't asked for an exact location yet, the family is debating CP and GS and adding to that no first floor. MS told me that the only real request I would be making is the location, which we haven't made yet. So I'm thinking that you aren't asking for too much.

Yes, you want to request a "dedicated two-bedroom" as opposed to a "lock-off" which is a one-bedroom with a connecting studio.

I don't think you have too many requests. In fact if you book both rooms at the same time, they will generally say "you want them near one another right?"
