SSR room location

Looks like we are on the brink of renting DVC at SSR for Sun-Thu 12/2-12/6 (108 points by my computation for a 2 bedroom) before we set sail on the Wonder. My question is....what room location request should I ask for? I want to have everything ready to go when I start looking for someone to rent from.

We are four women (and have another group that just got booked in a 2bdrm there with their time share transfer). We will be using Disney transportation, so I guess that is my main concern for location with access to buses. Also access to downtown Disney would be nice....don't know if that meshes with bus location or not. (Sorry, I did all my research on OKW and have to start over!)

Please let me know what y'all think while I go off in search of a SSR map!

OK, I've found some maps and other room location threads...now my question is:

WHAT IS THE BUS PICK UP ROUTE? With my hip it's less of a problem to walk than it is to STAND, so more important for me is maybe being at the first pick up stop in order to get a seat...even if I have to walk a ways to do other things.

I believe all the non-Downtown Disney buses first stop at the Carousel, then the Paddock, Congress Park, and then the Springs.

Yes...that is how it was when we were there in September, with Carousel added on the front of that list as the week went on. By next December, the Grandstand should added on somewhere.
