SSR Reservations?

Is anyone making SSR reservations yet? Are they accepting SSR reservations? When will they be?

How does a new resort work (how did BCV or VWL work)? Will everyone be wanting to try it out? Is there normally lots of extra rooms in the begining before they sell it out or vice versa? I know we are thinking about going in July.

I think SSR owners can make ressies starting Dec.1 and other DVC members can start Feb.1.

The Dec 1st and Feb 1st dates for making reservations at SSR are correct.

I was worried about only one building being available in MAY- JUNE and how many would want to get in then. I posted a poll a few pages back but didn't get much response

We just bought into SSR in October and we were told that the date for ressies for SSR owners would be Dec. 1st.

I wonder if you book there, it may be a ghost hotel with mostly construction going on.

I asked MS last week, and I'm pretty sure they told me Feb. 4 for non-members there. She also told me that since SSR home resort members could book in December, and there's only one building opening in May, those of us who own elsewhere will have a very hard time getting May ressies there.

Although I can reserve on Dec. 1st for SSR, I can't use it until after June 1st when my building is scheduled to open... It's ok though, because I'm not going until October.

Feb 4, 2004 is the correct date for non-SSR owners to begin booking at SSR, subject to the 7-month window, of course.
