Hi,
Not sure exactly where to post this, I have a couple of questions about SSR.

1. Does anyone have a room plan for the 2 bed villas?

2. How often do housekeeping visit and if it is not everyday how does this work with toiletries, towels etc?

3. If you are not a DVC owner what would be the chance of getting of getting a Congress Park DTD view? Is it worth requesting this?

Thanks for the help I did try searching but was struggling.

Thanks again
Ela

I can't answer the specific SSR questions but I can tell you that when you stay on a DVC points reservation, you get mousekeeping based on length of your stay.

If you stay 7 nights or less, you get "trash and towel" on Day 4--they come in remove any trash, and replace the towels. For stays at least 8 nights, you get a full cleaning on day 4 and then trash and towel on day 8 (I think).

You can purchase more towels and pay for additional cleanings if you want. If you stay in a 2 bedroom, you will have a washer/dryer to do your own.

As you are from the UK i imagine you will have taken advantage of the UK offer at SSR rather than renting DVD points??

If so then you will get trash and towel service every day, mousekeeping will come round and replace your towels if you make it obvious you want them replaced, they do ask that you reuse them if possible.

We stayed at SSR in August this year and we requested Congress Park and thats what we got, I imagine they will do their best to honour your request if at all possible whether you are a DVC owner or not.

:)

Congress Park is worth it IMHO...DW and I have stayed in that section twice. The view at night of DTD is nice. The bus stop would allow you to get on before the Springs stop, which is usually full of people. The walk is reasonable to both DTD and the main building. The quiet pool in that section is very nice to spend time at...needs a bar though LOL.

Thanks to all who have posted replies looking forward to our trip now.

Only 314 more days to go :woohoo:

Order groceries through gardengrocer.com, they can deliver the groceries before you get to your resort the day you check in. You just call bell services and tell them you are expecting groceries and they will bring them up. In my experience our big money saver was drinks, and also not having to spend any money on breakfast, or lunch. You can stock your full size fridge with tons of food. We generally order coldcuts for lunches, and bagels and cereal for breakfast.
