SSR or OKW Studio?

I have enough points to do either a few days at SSR or OKW studio for MLK weekend.

I have not stayed in a studio in like 4years...only the 1bedrooms..so I know I'm going to be "disappointed" no matter what.

I always stay at SSR but hear that OKW is bigger. I like the option of walking to DDT so those are def my 2 resorts.

Suggestion on where me and the man should stay?

Anyone want to sell me some points for a 1 bed? haha

Just you and "the man"? Depends on which "sleeping arrangement" you want. OKW will have 2 queens. SSR will have 1 queen and 1 double sleeper sofa.

So one bed will suffice..so maybe SSR will be nicer to have a couch to sit on...

Know what you mean from a 1 BR to a studio. For that reason when it's just DH and I we try to go with a studio that has 1 bed and the couch. Makes it seem bigger, roomier. So even though we absolutely LOVE OKW, our choice would be SSR.

i like both but i think OKW actually feels a little bigger than SS - even with the two beds - i think it is teh set up and the bathrooms that just seem bigger - in fact i think they are actually bigger but they do have the two beds instead of the couch .....

I have to agree, LOVE OKW but if we're doing a studio for just the two of us I will go almost anywhere BUT OKW because of the two bed setup. But if I have the points it is a 1 BR at OKW hands down!

For just the 2 of us we prefer the studios with a couch and a bed. The 2nd bed at OKW takes a lot of the room away from us.

We just stayed at both of those resorts...
OKW was roomier but we sure like having a sofa at SSR.
Of course I mentioned this in another post... the room we had at OKW was not in the nicest shape.
They are supposed to be rehabbing OKW so I would go with SSR.
The pool area at the Grandstand is gorgeous.

If you want to walk to DTD I think it's a much shorter walk from SSR.

I also prefer the one bed and a couch setup. I also really love the decor of the SSR studios. They may be my favorite studio (decor wise) on property.

i vote for ssr.
okw is nice, but ssr's studio feels more like a resort room rather than just a bedroom b/c of the configuration.

and try to request congress park, dtd view, at ssr for a quick and easy walk to dtd, as well as some beautiful views

While I am still in therapy about NOT having a 1 bed (haha), I ended up with the Studio at SSR

A Studio is better than no trip rihgt?
