We stayed in the front Carousel building over Xmas.

As long as you don't have any health conditions, the walk to the Artist Palette area is not that bad, maybe 5 minutes.

We did not hear any excessive noise from the roadway from our room at least. Maybe it is worse in the back building though.

The best part about this location is that it is the first bus stop for the Theme Park buses.

We were in the Carousel building too, room 7536 and did not hear any road noise. Although the walk to the main pool & AP were kinda lengthy we enjoyed it. Besides it was a good way to walk off some of the food we ate!!!
