Well,,,we just got home from a chilly week in WDW. Thanks to all who warned me if might be chilly but jeez it was down right freezing. Sunday was a nice day at MK if not for the nine million brazillian tour groups and a rather adventerous trip to try to get to Kona ( back to SSR to change and not a MK bus in sight, finally got a bus to Epcot and switched to the Express Monorail, we were late but got seated quickly.
Did DS's 14th bday at Studios on Monday. Got the fastpass option, doubles for the day. Fabulous choices considering the brazillians and the holiday. Did TOT 3 times, RR Coaster 3 times and Toy Story Mania 3 times. Would NEVER have gotten that done! Lunch was a nice boat ride to ESPN and a nicer walk back to studios. Dinner was so so at Turf CLub.....pretty slow service. Tuesday we froze out butts off at Epcot after a slow morning at SSR. Didn't do a whole lot ( MIssion Space, yes I did orange and yes I threw up!!). Pretty good dinner at Coral Reef expect DDP was messed up. Couldn't get on Soarin....AGAIN! and missed Illuminations.
Wed was a nice morning at BBB with DD and meeting up with boys at Disneyquest followed by a great meal at Raglan Road! LOVE IT THERE!
Thursday a little less chilly day at AK, were able to do Everest 4 times without waiting! Did Dinasour and the safaris quickly as well. Zipped over to the Contempory for a nice dinner at Chef MIckeys....welll...until 8 year old had too much ice cream and welll....I leave that up to your imagination!
Friday!!! Finally some sun! A round of golf a Oak Trail....a visit to a deserted Blizzard Beach and than stranded for an hour waiting for a SSR bus. We saw 4 busses from each other resort come by! This and our inability to get a bus to the MK on Sunday were our only bus issues.
SSR was Beautiful! We were in 3335 in the Springs.....figured out quickly to get off at Grandstand and walk and how to catch the walking trail down by the pro shop!
Here is to planning our next trip.....in 2 years! Only have a 100 points so will need to wait a while!
