Most of the essentials have already been covered but I thought I would mention a few that went on at our meeting that may not have come up at others and some things that are for Saratoga alone.

We have heard of the website update. Someone asked about reserving online as well. They said they are working on that but can't give a definitive answer on when that would be up. Mentioned that banking points should be avail by the end of 06.

Someone asked about budget vs actual and they talked about giving the previous years actual results included in with the budget for the following year. Thought that was nice of them to consider.

Saratoga items:
Next spring they are going to add horse drawn carriage rides throughout the resort to fit with the theme.

Going to add a scavenger hunt for teens

When phase 3 opens (anticipated in 2007) they will also add a smaller themed pool in that section. Hopefully to ease up the crowd in High Rock Springs

Someone asked about Treehouse Villas. Well they said they do have plans for it but can't say what yet. The GM of Saratoga stood up and said what they are currently doing with them. Jim Lewis made it clear she can't mention future plans just what is going on currently. On Nov 14th the International students are living there for now and she mentioned they will be cycling them in and out for the next 2 years there. Well in 2 years the final phase of Saratoga will be complete. But they do have some sort of plans for them.

Also said they were just looking, not doing anything but looking at the possibility of other DVC resorts that are not on WDW property. By the way they made it sound it looks like it would be a while before we saw anything, but then again who knows.

So how neat we got the Dining plan, AP discount going to continue, website updates sound great; pay dues online, pay loans online, view history, bank points end of the year and so on.

Also mentioned they are looking at ways to ease some of the difficulity some have with the MS business hours always being 9-5. Trying to figure out a good way along with keeping our costs at a minimum.

It was a very good meeting.

Thanks for that.

Did they mention how much of the 2006 SSR fees are subsidized? I keep hearing about this on these boards and I am eager to understand it a little better.

It was in the proposed budget we got last week. The subsidy was only a little over 7 cents per point (7.2 cents maybe? I'd quote the exact, but can't find my budget now!).
