We just got our confirmation for our SSR trip in Nov. I note it is a 2 bdrm. dedicated lock-off. What is the difference between this and a regular 2 bdrm.? Does anyone prefer it or not? Thanks!

I think the 2 bdrm dedicated has 2 beds and no kitchenette.

The lock-off has a 1 bdrm with a Studio (so sofa bed and extra micro &fridge) that they can lockoff to separate.

I think that is how it is one or the other and thats the difference.

It depends on who's in the 2nd bdrm it would be nice to have a separate fridge sometimes .I wouldn't worry about the beds as the SSRs' have the most comfortable sofa beds I've ever seen when we layed on one at the modle rooms.

Yes, that's correct - lockoff has one queen bed and one sleeper sofa (it's actually a studio attached to a 1 BR). Two outside entrances as well, plus the door between the 2 rooms that can be "locked off". Lockoff also has a kitchenette in the second BR. Nice for two families since each can come and go without disturbing the other, although we preferred the dedicated when we took my folks with us because the second BR seemed nicer (having 2 queen beds).
You'll enjoy either one, both are great!

The 2 BR villas are either "dedicated" or "lock-off". There is no such thing as a "dedicated lock-off". You might want to take another look at your confirmation letter.
