SSR Location Request

We will be arriving at SSR for an 8 day stay in less than a week. I'm getting ready to do the on-line check in and want to add a room request.
Is there a section that is close to both the main pool and the community hall or food court? I know a new feature pool was added since the last time we stayed at SSR. Is it as nice as the original feature pool?
I thought I read that you may be able to view fireworks from some locations at SSR too but I didn't know where. Anyone know if this is true?

You'll want the "Near Carriage House" request.

We'll be there 7 days after you. Very excited for our first stay at SSR.

The closest to the original main pool/ food area is the Springs section. This also is near the Turf club restaurant and the boat to DTD too.. The only drawback is that it's the last stop for the buses out of 6 total.

The other area that the pool was installed a few yrs ago is at the paddock section.
This is just a short walk across the bridge from Springs. It has a quick service type snack bar and refill station here too. Along with a nice pool, They also h s 've a kids water play area too. Either are nice, and all have pros n cons.

The Grandstand section is the second closest (behind the Springs) to the Carriage House. The Grandstand is also the first stop for theme park buses.

We are staying at SSR in a studio very soon for just 2 nights. It's our first time. Would like to be close to main building/buses as doing heavy parks. What section(s) should we request? Thank you!
