SSR laundry

We'll be in a studio at SSR for a few days, then moving in to a 2 bdrm at BCV when rest of the family arrives. We're wanting to wash clothes before the move. We have no idea where the laundry rooms are located at SSR. We would appreciate your help. Thanks!

I believe the Laundry is located in the buildings at the pools.

There may be another laundry somewhere since SSR is so big, but the main one is right next to the Community Hall and you can access it from the main road entrance or a back door. It's just down the walkway from the pool.

We only used it when we were staying in the Springs section, so I never looked to see if there was another one.

The largest of the laundry facilities is located along Broadway, the main road through the resort, near the main pool. You can also find laundry facilities at each quiet pool.

You will need your KTTW to enter the laundry room.

I've used 3 of the SSR laundry rooms...the one by the main pool has been well-described...the one at Grandstand is the furthest room at the "top" of the pool (away from the walkway to Carriage House). There are two washers & dryers--

The one at Congress Park is in the building where the restrooms are, to the side of the pool.

Don't know about Paddock...prior to the renovation that added the new feature pool there was a building w/restrooms and the laundry room, but haven't been over there since the renovation...

With all the laundry rooms, it looks like you have to insert coins to run the washers & dryers, but you don't...just push the coin slot mechanism in and the machines work.

The sign says each cycle takes 30 minutes, but it's closer to 40...

There is a laundry room next to the toilets and pool bar/cafe at the Paddock. Perfect for pool lazing while the washing is getting done.

Thanks so much for all the details. I doubt we'll be at Congress or Grandstand, so I'll figure out which of the other 2 laundry areas works out better for us. Thanks again.
