Phone number is probably a call center. Disney does not want you to call the front desk and doesn't feel that there is any reason to do so.

This is the number I have in my phone book (407) 827-1100 but it could be call center as pp said.

You absolutely can contact the front desk. I have called WL directly on a number of occassions.

The phone number that you edited into your initial post is the correct # for SSR: (407) 827-1100.
