Hmm, just don't know about this place...SSR...
I was all excited about trying this place for the first time and now, I just don't know. When we arrived it started to rain, the security CM had the nerve to say "Welcome Home" when we passed through the main gate, what was that????
Then, could you imagine, our room was ready early, at 2:00, darn I was hoping to wait around all afternoon until 4:00-5:00 check in...and sheesh, could you imagine...we booked a studio and how disappointing...we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite!! And, they actually put us in the CP section, we're a whole 5 minute walk to DTD and the bus depot to everywhere in WDW!! Who would want to be near that, just too accessable!! And, a huge view of DTD right out our windows, oh yuck!!
GOTCHA!! Ha ha!! I'm getting that "Peter Pirate" feeling here (if you know him from the boards), just couldn't resist!!
This place is beautiful!! I was so thrilled to be upgraded, don't know how we swung that one..especially on the AP/FL resident rate, pretty smart on their part though, I'd say to try and tempt us to buy into DVC!! (very smart marketing
) If we weren't such big S/D fans I'd be quite tempted, let me tell you!!
We're actually doing a non-Disney park trip and it looks like we'll have lots to keep us busy!! They're calling for rain most of the day today, but the sun is out now (of course being a Floridian, that doesn't fool me)...we drove up in some pretty nasty weather yesterday that had the nerve to follow us here! We actually had to sit in the car in the parking lot for 20 min. before checking in, it was so bad (the lightening and thunder too). But, it cleared out in time for us to walk around DTD and have dinner there.
Really excited about our stay here. Kinda funny because we actually plan to go to Seaworld tomorrow. We come here a lot and always talk about going there but since our seasonal APs are blacked out for the Dis parks, now we have an excust to go to SW!! Today we're just going to "bop" around and try to enjoy the sun while we can!
