SSR Halloween Happenings

If you have been at SSR on Halloween do they do anything special? My DS and I will be there this year and I was wondering if anything special went on. I know they have the haunted hayride and Ft.Wilderness and MNSSHP but I was wondering if there was anything going on at the resort.

We had our girls out trick or treating. They had several trick or treating stations set up. Believe at the pool, at the DVC sales center, at the front desk, community hall and Artist's Palette. Plenty of candy.

They had other activities that we did not participate in. I believe they had movies going in the pool area, and they had Halloween arts and craft activities, also by the pool.

Thanks! In that case I am thinking about doing MNSSHP a few nights before Halloween because I figure it will be packed Halloween night. Then Halloween night we can hang out at the resort.

We're going to be at VWL Halloween week, and I asked about where to go Trick or Treating with DGC. Last year, DTD had treats on both Halloween and its eve.

We'll be at SSR on Halloween also. Thanks for the tips on Downtown Disney. Our last Halloween trip we stayed at BWV. They have a really nice celebration there on the 31st.

We will be there at Halloween, but our kids are little too old for trick or treating now. We are going to the MNSSHP on the 30th or 31st though.

That is exactly what we did. We hist MNSSHP on the 30th. It was a bit crowded early on, but emptied out pretty quickly after the first parade. Then we did the trick or treating at SSR on the 31st. Kids really enjoyed it, gave them the chance to wear their halloween costumes two nights in a row.
