SSR - GV - PLEASE Help, Where to Request..

We are headed to Disney next month for a few days pre cruise.
We are not doing the parks but DTD and pool.
Can anyone please recommend where I would want to stay.
If I want views of DTD, where would I request?

Congress Park is the area of SSR directly across from DTD.

We've stayed in GV's in the Congress Park area twice. I really like the quiet pool in the Congress Park area.

If you are heading there next month, then you had better call MS fast as GV's may not be available. Never mind. I see from another post that you got the GV.

Congress Park has one of the best views on site (WDW not just SSR), looking across lake to DD, it also has a quiet pool.
