SSR - Grandstand views?

Good Morning!

I was wondering what kind of views the Grandstand area has? Any Downtown Disney? Or is Congress Park the only area with those?

Congress park only for DTD view. Grandstand is mostly golf course, a few pool and a few parking lot.

Thanks. I kinda like some kind of water view, hmmm, don't know what I want to request LOL. DD is going to want a nice pool, I think we are in conflict!

Our view from The Grandstand was of the golf course. It was nice and quiet and my son enjoyed watching the golfers since he's a little golfer himself.

Almost all of the grandstand is golf course view. The course surrounds the grandstand area on all four sides and the bulidings face the parking lots. So the villa entrance is on the parking lot side and the balcony is on the golf course side. There are a few villas that might look at the paths or the roadway leading up to the Carriage House.

I think from my other thread, I've been convinced to request Congress Park LOL, of course that doesn't mean I'll get it but I do like a water view. I guess if I was a golfer too that might appeal to me more but I've never learned Glad to hear your little guy had fun checking it out!

I can't wait, just over a month! This is our first trip to SSR - yay!

From our room (in the closest building to the Carriage House area), our view was first, the golf course, then just beyond it, the canal where the launch goes, and beyond that, the Cirque de Soleil building.
I loved the location, and that's one of the reasons that Grandstand is my favorite SSR area.

Love that building. We've stayed there twice. Like watching the boats go by and the bunnies in the morning. I think that building in particular is my favorite at SSR.

The one building mentioned in Grandstand is very nice as to views etc. The others not so much so and two are further out as far as walking to bus stop, pool and main building.

To me Congress Park has the best of all, pool is in the middle, bus stop in the middle and great Downtown Disney views.
