I saw where the website said the grandstand pool is closed through mid-March. Is the water play area closed too?
I would assume if the pool was closed the water play area would be too. They are probably doing some maintenance.I saw where the website said the grandstand pool is closed through mid-March. Is the water play area closed too?
Unless they're telling you differently at BW, I think the 'other' pools would only include the 2 additional 'quiet' pools at BW. I think there are 3 pools on property. I don't know that they'll allow pool hopping in this case, but could be wrong. If we were to take a bus to another pool, how would we get back to Grandstand?
There are 4 pools at SSR. The Springs (main feature pool), Congress Park, Grandstand and Paddock. Since there are multiple pools at the resort, you would not be able to use a pool at another resort and pool hopping is still suspended.I think there are 3 pools on property. Don't know why I went to BW. Sorry. Similar response for SSR!We are at SSR, not BWV.
The Disney Springs buses (if running) start at Congress Park and will go to the Grandstand before leaving SSR.If we were to take a bus to another pool, how would we get back to Grandstand? For instance Congress Park Pool.
Ok…good to know that it can be done. CP pool is my preferred. Thank you!The Disney Springs buses (if running) start at Congress Park and will go to the Grandstand before leaving SSR.
DS bus stop order: Congress Park > Springs > Grandstand > Carousel > Paddock > Disney Springs.

Yes we were there last week and I had to park myself at the Paddock pool at 9 to get a seatThe 3 other pools have been packed all week - with zero seating available by 11'ish.
We couldn't even get seats at the Congress Park pool at 11 AM one day. That pool is about as "no frills" as you can get! Don't get me wrong, it fits the bill for what we were looking for, but it has no slide, no drink refill station, no snacks, no bar... And it was completely filled, many of the tables gone before the 10 AM "opening" time. The Paddock pool was even worse. With limited seating there, a great slide and snack bar, you had to be there before 10 to secure any seats.
