SSR for the 2004 Holiday?

Is anyone else considering staying at SSR for the 2004 X-Mas/New Year's holiday? I'd like to try it (if I can get it), however, I'm a bit concerned with transportation on NYE. Last time we went down over NYE, we stayed at the CR, and were able to walk back and forth to the MK. BWV definetly has an advantage there (going to/from Epcot), and since it is our home resort, I'd probably be able to get it right at the 11-month window.

Cali, I think it depends on where you plan to be NYE. If you plan to be at Epcot, then at BWV, you have that easy access, albeit a walk, when you are ready to retire.

SSR...I think it's too soon to tell re: its transportation, but I can't imagine that it's would share a bus with a resort. It's kind of off the beaten path, like AKL, so in my view, would need its own dedicated bus from each park. In that respect, it might be a good deal.

I guess you could make your ressies at BWV and try and switch over at 7 months if your yen to be at SSR is still in your system at that time.

Shared bus? Nah. When we stayed there, prior to it becomming part of the Dis Inat, it had its own busses to each destination. Im sure they wont change it now. I imagine transportation will be like OKW.

Stacy, I agree, and reckon SSR&S will have to have it's own bus service. It's a little far out to share with another resort IMHO, but for those like me who love DTD, I guess that's no problem at all.

Anyway, what's a 10-15 minute bus ride to the parks, when it will take me over 10 hours to get there?!!!

I think staying at SSR for this period would be ideal if you were going to PI on NYE.

But like stated before, I can't see us sharing a bus with other resorts! Even if we did, the more the merrier!
