SSR - Dedicated or Lock Off 2 bedroom?

Just wondering if there is a difference in the type of unit you get when staying on a cash reservation. Do you always get a dedicated unit when staying on cash or could it be a lock off as well?

If you book through Disney on a cash reservation, it will most likely be a dedicated 2 BR, but could be a lock off if occupancy is at max capacity. With that being said, we typically travel at off peak travel times, and have always gotten a dedicated. Why not request "prefer a dedicated 2 BR" upon online check-in or at the front desk, if it is that important. Have a wonderful trip!

If you are doing the cash reservation through MS they will check to see if a dedicated 2BR is available. I imagine either type of 2BRs can be available for cash.
