hi just wondering if all the rooms have a cot in already or if you have to request one to be put in the room - i kind of remember one in the closet on our prev visits but didnt need one so didnt may much attention. This year more family are coming with us and dsil need cot for dn and there are unsure if need to book it. I email member services about a couple of things they replied but didnt answer my question about cot already in room?

There are not cots or rollaway beds available at DVC resorts. If you are referring to a Pack-n-Play playpen/sleeper for a child under 3, yes, every room should have one.

thanks for your reply - thats what i was meaning its for my 18 month old nephew......

LOL, I was thinking this was going to be a heated room occupancy thread from the title. popcorn:: Then I saw you were from the UK and realized it was two different meanings of the word cot.

To quote George Bernard Shaw, we're "two people separated by a common language."

(Ok, I admit I knew the quote, but had to Google who said it. :rotfl2:)

You use the word "cot" to mean what Americans would call a "crib." Just out of curiosity, what do you call a temporary, fold-up, portable bed used by adults? (What Americans would call a cot.)
