We are staying home for the frist time 4/23 to 5/3 and were wondering how crowded the busses are. The only resason I ask is my DD is 1 and we have to bring her stroller and I will be 18 weeks pregnant. I was going to see if we could stay in congress or springs but that is the last pick up. What is your opinon? I just hate the stroller being in the way. She will probably nap in the stroller at the parks. And the ones they rent don't look very comfortable. Thanks

How early are you planning to head to the parks? At Thanksgiving we head out at about 9ish and were at Congress Park and they weren't that crowded. would have been easy to get a stroller on. In the evenings coming back they were a little more crowded. Sorry can't really remember the days that we headed back early.

Since I am past the stroller days, eldest would sleep anywhere, if it was nap time. Youngest one never fell asleep in a stroller, he might miss something. I guess it depends on your DD. Would she do better in her stroller? I can't imagine those WDW being the most comfortable(they actually look like they are for bigger kids(2-4) than a one year old.

Make sure you take care of yourself when you are there too!

We were at SSR over New Years and were at the Springs (so last stop). There were a few times when the bus was full enough leaving the resort that people were standing, but usually there were seats.

The WDW strollers are not as uncomfortable as they look. They are firm plastic (like Little Tikes products are made of). They are not really appropriate for a one year old though; better for older toddlers.

Thanks everyone. I guess by the sounds the bus stops aren't all that crowded. I don't mind standing on the bus I stand all day at work. It is more the stroller issue. DD is a good walker but it is easier to pick her up and go.

Thanks KElly

I don't think it will be a problem at all. That time of year the crowds are reasonable. The last stop, Springs, will always have the worse time with seating. Last year, we stayed at SSR about 25 days total during the year. Only once did the bus get to the last stop and could not take on all the passengers. That was July 4th of last summer, first thing in the morning to Magic Kingdom.
